"New Stone" is a construction aggregate made from electric furnace steelmaking slag generated in the steelmaking process, which undergoes particle size adjustment and stabilization treatment (aging). When steel slag comes into contact with water, it forms fine hydration products on the surface of the slag due to trace amounts of lime and silica, which act as a binding agent that solidifies and hardens the slag particles.
